My Random Thoughts : Hi folks it's here isn't it? I mean the much awaited 2015 General Elections! GEJ and GMB signed yet another peace accord yesterday isn't it? I don't think the problem is with these two woooo! It's to those of us followers! In the last one or two years I have watched, read and followed some of your comments and wondered if we truly love Nigeria. I have in my little way monitored election in other countries but ours seem different! Well the hate language some of us have used is unacceptable. Nigeria is the only country me J J i get woooo. As we go to the polls tomorrow kindly vote peacefully, shun any form of violence and exhibit high sense of patriotism! Gracias!

Football Palaver CHELSEA's NIGHT
Football Palaver : Well The Blues the night is here in UCL against PSG!
Wishing JM and the team the best of luck. Also asking for fair play and
fair officiating by The Referee and the numerous assistants UEFA
introduced recently cos most times those ones standing behind the
goalposts seem to be doing absolutely nothing!
Unscrupulous elements to deforest on the Mambilla Platea
In recent times Govt agents connived with some unscrupulous elements to
deforest the once Beautiful Govt Reserved Forests on The Mambilla
Plateau. The exercise was carried out in such a reckless and ferocious
manner without minding the consequences of the quantum of damages done
to the environment. Today apart from the Eucalyptus farms owned by
individuals, that of Govt has become a shadow of it former self. What a
pity! Now the little one that adorned The Govt Lodge within Gembu
Metropolis is being hewed with such a recklessness one wonders if there
is any Govt organ to check n stop all these nonsense? That's not just
my concern. What about the dirtiness, filts we have created for the town?
Its a big shame us as a people to have abandon the multi-million naira
Gembu New Market to lay in waste only for us to go for the
open, conjested, narrow one near Pege? Or more still to have the Old
Motorpark junction so so conjested with big lorries offloading goods
there instead of the new Motorpark? Worst still the Catholic Church
junction has turned into a Motorpark? Even more pathetic is the
obstruction of the new tarred road with goods and wares thereby posing
grave dangers to those plying that road. Why can't the LGC direct those
doing their personal constructions along that highway remove and
decongest the roads? Now the Big One;where is the Gembu Master plan? I
can see Gembu developing and expanding both east and westward so what
happens now that no one is paying any attention to the provision of
schools, clinics or recreation centres? I'm deeply embarrassed that a big
town such as ours no portable drinking water for the teeming populace?
Electricity? Proper drainage systems? The reckless way and manner refuse
is dumped without any plans whatsoever to remove such? Haba
As civil servants
MY RANDOM THOUGHTS: we toil day and night so as to
contribute our quota to National Development. In other words without
civil servants no meaningful development shall take place. It is in the
light of this that majority of the categories of civil servants retire
by a continuous 35 years(for my category as a teacher)or at the
attainment of 60 years. In our country and my state Taraba it is expected
that having put these many years in the service of our dear state
and country retirement should expectedly be a period of enjoying life
after but greatly alarming is the total negligence of this categories of
our senior citizens! Many have died without enjoying a single kobo! THE
CASE IN TARABA STATE IS TERRIBLE!What is happening in Taraba State?
Some STATE GOVT RETIRED CIVIL SERVANTS have gone for several years
without getting their benefits paid. THAT OF RETIRED LOCAL GOVT STAFF?
They are worst off with some retiring since 2013 without having their
names even on the monthly pension! ANY surprise therefore in seeing
these categories of our citizens dying penury, poverty and disease? I
write this appealing to The AG GOVERNOR OF TARABA STATE,ALH ABUBAKAR
SANI DANLADI to please pay. The Labour Movement in the state had gone
deaf and dumb. So your EXCELLENCY KINDLY RESCUE!
Football Palaver :
Football Palaver : Congratulations to The Gunners for gunning down The
Red Devils of Manchester! Ordinarilly I would have kept mute but for Gee
Tee Kataps, Charles and Tim Juyoh who all would have accuse me of not
showing any form of sportsmanship despite the fact that Chelsea were
knocked out of the FA Cup earlier by Watford! And on the other hand an
unrepentant Man U fan Hamza Abubakar will obviously feel I was getting
my pound of flesh over Man Utd's elimination at OT by Arsenal! I told a
few friends that by selling off Welbeck to Arsenal Man Utd were gonna
regret one day and that one day came tonight with that brilliant 2nd
goal he scored. Well it isn't uhuru yet cos the semi-final draws was
done immediately and Arsenal will meet the winner between Watford
/Reading.
